The events, organised by Easyfairs, brought together more than 12,200 professional visitors and 426 national and international exhibiting companies, exceeding the 2024 figures by 4% and highlighting the upward trend in participation and relevance as the major event for the Spanish logistics, packaging and immologistics industries.<\/p>\n<p>On 15 and 16 October, IFEMA Madrid was transformed into a large 24,000 m\u00b2 technology hub, where the most advanced solutions in each sector were presented. &#8220;Every year we seek to improve, and the 2025 edition is proof of that. And not only because of the record attendance, but also because of the positive reviews and testimonials from exhibitors and visitors who have been part of this experience. Our goal is to be your meeting point so that you can boost your business, establish valuable connections and, above all, immerse yourself in all the major advances in your sector,&#8221; said Oscar Barranco, Managing Director of Easyfairs Iberia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Empack: sustainability, design and innovation that anticipate the future of packaging<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Empack Madrid celebrated its 17th edition with remarkable growth in exhibitors and visitors, bringing together more than 180 companies that presented sustainable materials, smart packaging and solutions for production line automation.<\/p>\n<p>In its two main venues\u2014the <strong>Empack Room and the Pentawards Room<\/strong>\u2014the event hosted a comprehensive programme of talks and round tables focusing on innovation, sustainability and new trends in packaging, as well as the first edition of the <strong>Best ESG Initiative Awards<\/strong>, which recognised outstanding projects in sustainability and environmental management, with three notable finalists: Pulsar Properties, Aunoa and Ecoventi Sistemas. Finally, Pulsar Properties won the award, consolidating its leadership in promoting responsible initiatives within the sector.<\/p>\n<p>During the two days, key industry issues were addressed with the participation of experts from Foreo, Clarel, Ecovidrio, Philip Morris and Vicky Foods, together with the collaboration of strategic partners such as ITENE, Packnet, Beauty Cluster and Newspackaging, among others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keynote speaker Gema Requena<\/strong>, an expert in research and strategy and Forbes Spain Top 40 Futurist, opened the doors to attendees to the new trends in present and future consumption that are already driving the day-to-day activities of brands. &#8220;In packaging, as in any sector, one of the most relevant challenges is to connect with narratives and strengthen brands with a purpose. Its four themed rooms \u2014<strong>Transport &amp; Delivery, Technology Forum, Supply Chain and Logistics Lab<\/strong>\u2014 addressed the major challenges facing the supply chain, from automation and robotics to sustainable mobility and digital talent.<\/p>\n<p>Among the highlights of this edition, the official opening was presided over by authorities such as Jos\u00e9 Antonio Santano, Secretary of State for Transport and Sustainable Mobility, and Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Garc\u00eda, Deputy Minister of Housing, Transport and Infrastructure of the Community of Madrid, who reaffirmed the commitment of the administration and companies to the growth and development of the national logistics sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018<strong>I would like to thank Easyfairs, the organiser of this fair, which year after year is growing at a double-digit rate in terms of the number of exhibitors, visitors and conference attendees. With more than 50 exhibiting companies, LIB brought together the country&#8217;s leading developers, engineering firms, construction companies, materials companies and logistics operators.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time, the event featured institutional participation from the Community of Madrid, through Planifica Madrid, Invest in Madrid and the Logistics Agency, reinforcing the region&#8217;s commitment to sustainable industrial development. &#8220;For us, the fair has been a success. We have showcased our logistics developments and found a great deal of interest in them, reaching an audience that we would not have reached in other ways.
