Alineado con el compromiso de Nestl\u00e9 de reducir en un tercio el uso de pl\u00e1stico virgen apto para uso alimentario en 2025, as\u00ed como con el objetivo m\u00e1s general de que el 100% de sus envases sean reciclables o reutilizables en ese mismo a\u00f1o, la Compa\u00f1\u00eda en Espa\u00f1a ha dado un nuevo impulso a la econom\u00eda circular utilizando pl\u00e1stico reciclado en el embalaje secundario que las marcas emplean para agrupar los productos.<\/p>\n

Para ello, Nestl\u00e9 cuenta con la colaboraci\u00f3n de Grupo Saica, a trav\u00e9s de su divisi\u00f3n Saica Natur -\u00e1rea de negocio de la empresa encargada de la gesti\u00f3n de residuos y servicios medioambientales- quien da una segunda vida a los residuos que se generan en 8 de las 10 f\u00e1bricas con que cuenta la Compa\u00f1\u00eda en Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

As\u00ed, durante el pasado a\u00f1o, Saica Natur, retir\u00f3 de las factor\u00edas de Nestl\u00e9 que gestiona m\u00e1s de 9.000 toneladas de residuos a las que dio una segunda vida. De estas, unas 131 toneladas correspond\u00edan a polietileno de baja densidad transparente. Este material pl\u00e1stico se envi\u00f3 a Natur Cycle Plus, la planta de reciclaje donde, tras un exhaustivo proceso de selecci\u00f3n, lavado y procesado, se transform\u00f3 en granza reciclada. Este nuevo recurso fue posteriormente reintroducido en un 50% en el packaging<\/em> secundario o film de agrupaci\u00f3n que utiliza Nestl\u00e9 para algunas de sus marcas como son Litoral, Nescaf\u00e9, Nesquik, Nestl\u00e9 Aquarel, Sol\u00eds y Viladrau.<\/p>\n

De esta manera, con la utilizaci\u00f3n de granza reciclada en vez de virgen se consigue reducir en un 37% la huella de carbono de la materia prima, mientras que el consumo de agua para su fabricaci\u00f3n se reduce en un 39%.<\/p>\n

Esta iniciativa se enmarca dentro de los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas (ODS) y en concreto en los ODS 12 (producci\u00f3n y consumo responsable), el 13 (acci\u00f3n por el clima) y 17 (alianzas para lograr los objetivos).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
