El estudio muestra que, en comparaci\u00f3n con las latas de aluminio, una mayor proporci\u00f3n de botellas de vidrio y pl\u00e1stico acaban en vertederos al no recogerse. Adem\u00e1s, las p\u00e9rdidas en el sistema de reciclaje una vez recogidas son tres veces mayores para las botellas de pl\u00e1stico PET y de vidrio que para las latas de aluminio.<\/p>\n<p>Bajo la supervisi\u00f3n del IAI, la consultora\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eunomia.co.uk\/?mc_cid=f6df74c0ee&amp;mc_eid=26582cddb6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eunomia Research and Consulting<\/a>\u00a0ha analizado los datos de cinco regiones: Brasil, China, Europa, Jap\u00f3n y Estados Unidos. El estudio observa las p\u00e9rdidas por procesamiento al final de la vida \u00fatil de las latas de aluminio, las botellas de vidrio y de pl\u00e1stico (PET &#8211; tereftalato de polietileno), incluyendo la recogida, la clasificaci\u00f3n, el reprocesamiento y procesamiento t\u00e9rmico, el reciclaje en circuito cerrado y el reciclaje en circuito abierto.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>A pesar de que ning\u00fan envase de bebidas ha alcanzado completamente su potencial de circularidad todav\u00eda, el aluminio supera al vidrio y al pl\u00e1stico (PET) en todas las etapas del sistema de gesti\u00f3n de residuos. En la actualidad, las latas de aluminio son el envase de bebidas m\u00e1s reciclado globalmente. Una vez estas son recogidas, las latas de aluminio tienen una tasa de eficiencia inigualable del 90% en los procesos de clasificaci\u00f3n, reprocesamiento y refundici\u00f3n, en comparaci\u00f3n con el vidrio (67%) y el PET (66%). En base a esto, el aluminio puede ser descrito como el material para la econom\u00eda circular. Esto es especialmente importante si tenemos en cuenta el potencial de reducci\u00f3n de carbono del reciclaje\u201d,\u00a0<\/em>se\u00f1ala\u00a0<strong>Ram\u00f3n Arratia<\/strong>, vicepresidente global de Asuntos P\u00fablicos de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ball.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ball
