Con ello,\u00a0<\/em><strong><em>ayudamos a las empresas a adaptarse a los objetivos de sostenibilidad y a la normativa europea, al tiempo que reforzamos la competitividad del sector<\/em><\/strong>\u201d, afirma\u00a0<strong>C\u00e9sar Aliaga<\/strong>, responsable de Recyscale en ITENE.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Contribuir a una industria m\u00e1s sostenible y competitiva<\/h2><p>La producci\u00f3n internacional de pl\u00e1sticos se alz\u00f3 a los<strong>\u00a0400 millones de toneladas en 2022<\/strong>, de las cuales \u00fanicamente se recicla el 46% de los residuos de envases en parte por la complejidad que supone la contaminaci\u00f3n cruzada y la degradaci\u00f3n t\u00e9rmica para el reciclaje. Asimismo, en 2023 se produjeron<strong>\u00a0401 millones de toneladas de envases de papel y cart\u00f3n<\/strong>, de los que los laminados contin\u00faan significando un gran desaf\u00edo para el reciclado por su composici\u00f3n heterog\u00e9nea.<\/p><p>Para enfrentar este reto, Recyscale est\u00e1 desarrollando\u00a0<strong>procesos de descontaminaci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0innovadores para\u00a0<strong>films de polietileno de baja densidad (PEBD)<\/strong>, incluyendo tratamientos con vapor de agua, polietilenglicol, ozono, vac\u00edo y temperatura. Adem\u00e1s, aplicar\u00e1 tecnolog\u00edas mec\u00e1nicas, qu\u00edmicas y avanzadas de deslaminado y descontaminaci\u00f3n en papeles laminados, tratando de recuperar la celulosa y adaptarla a aplicaciones nuevas.<\/p><p>\u201c<em>Estamos desarrollando procesos espec\u00edficos que permitir\u00e1n\u00a0<strong>separar y recuperar la celulosa de forma m\u00e1s eficiente,\u00a0<\/strong>abriendo la puerta a su reutilizaci\u00f3n en nuevos envases y aplicaciones industriales.
