Para ello, hay que tener en cuenta diferentes aspectos tales como las estrategias de ecodise\u00f1o del envase, la optimizaci\u00f3n en el uso de recursos: materia y energ\u00eda, as\u00ed como en los procesos de transformaci\u00f3n y el fin de vida del envase, es decir, su reciclabilidad o valorizaci\u00f3n.<\/div>\n<div id=\"part3115324\" class=\"P2\">Sin embargo, la demonizaci\u00f3n del pl\u00e1stico ha provocado que se considere sostenible todo aquel envase que no contenga material pl\u00e1stico y sea sustituido por otros materiales. Debido a las numerosas campa\u00f1as en contra de los pl\u00e1sticos la sensaci\u00f3n que se traslada al consumidor es que cualquier opci\u00f3n que no sea pl\u00e1stico es mejor. En este sentido muchas cadenas de supermercado han lanzado campa\u00f1as de marketing anunciando la eliminaci\u00f3n de pl\u00e1sticos e incluyendo alternativas que, posteriormente se ha demostrado que son menos sostenibles. Para ello es muy importante cuantificar este impacto y trabajar con herramientas objetivas como el An\u00e1lisis de Ciclo de vida (ACV), herramienta que nos proporciona una medida del impacto ambiental de un determinado producto y nos permite seleccionar la mejor opci\u00f3n posible.\n<p>Por tanto, al final el pl\u00e1stico o los materiales en general no son un fin en s\u00ed mismo, sino que son un medio que tenemos que aprovechar para conseguir el menor impacto ambiental. Y seg\u00fan la aplicaci\u00f3n, el ACV o la huella de carbono, nos dir\u00e1 cual es la mejor opci\u00f3n en cada
