Food sector records 25% losses due to Filomena storm
The snowstorm that has wreaked havoc in the Community of Madrid in recent days is having an economic impact on sectors such as food, commerce and transport, among others.
According to the Regional Minister of Economy, Employment and Competitiveness of the Community of Madrid, Manuel Giménez, in an interview with TVE, although it is still too early to give specific figures, estimates point to losses of 20% or 25% in the food sector, 50% in other types of businesses and up to 75% in transport turnover.
