Pinturas Blatem is committed to sustainability and eco-design in its packaging strategy.
The 66th Breakfast of the Packaging Innovation Cluster was attended by the Valencian firm Pinturas Blatem, which explained its main packaging challenges to the sector; as well as the CIPFP Ciudad del Aprendiz, an educational centre specialising in vocational training, which announced the launch, for the next academic year, of a pioneering cycle related to packaging. Irisem, a company specialising in the manufacture and distribution of dyes, pigments and additives for industry, also took part in the event.
Its CEO, Nuria Luna, spoke about the challenges facing Pinturas Blatem, explaining that the greatest of them all is sustainability, as “there is another way of doing things and continuing to generate economic value while taking care of people and the environment”. The head of the Valencian firm based in Torrente, which has more than 4,000 references and half a million formulations, explained that another of the challenges is the capacity of the industry to supply recycled plastic, a packaging material for which “all the companies are betting on”.
