Madrid, 17 September 2025. Madrid is preparing to host a joint event on 15 and 16 October that will bring together three of the most influential events in logistics, transport, packaging and immologistics: Empack Madrid, Logistics & Automation Madrid and Logistics & Industrial Build. Under the umbrella of Easyfairs, the three trade fairs will fill halls 8 and 10 of IFEMA to offer industry professionals a unique experience that will boost their business objectives.
During the two days, Logistics & Automation attendees will have access to an extensive programme spread across four specialised rooms: the Transport & Delivery Room, the Technology Forum Room, the Supply Chain Room and the Logistics Lab Room. Empack will also target the packaging and design sector with its two spaces, the Empack Room and the Pentawards Room. For its part, Logistic & Industrial Build will have its own stage that will host major presentations on the challenges of building logistics and industrial infrastructure.
“In this new edition of the fairs, attendees will be immersed in a 24,000 m2 universe of technological innovation, sustainability and future trends, which will be reinforced by a great programme of conferences and presentations by experts. In 2025, our seven stages will bring together more than 200 expert speakers in packaging, logistics, transport and logistics and industrial construction, who will address the major current issues in each sector,” explains Oscar Barranco, Managing Director of Easyfairs Iberia.
Logistics & Automation: digitisation, secure transport and distribution
In 2025, Logistics & Automation will reinforce its role as a key space for analysing how digitisation, automation and technological innovation are transforming the value chain. The Supply Chain Room, sponsored by Vanderlande, will host the official opening ceremony of the fair, as part of the UNO Conference, a strategic partner, as well as the presentation of the 2025 Logistics Leaders Awards, which recognise major projects that are driving the future of the sector, and a round table discussion featuring leading figures from the sector. Finally, projects that are making a difference will also be presented, such as the Juan XXIII Foundation’s initiative for inclusive e-commerce and SAP’s presentation on a smart supply chain.
The second day will feature a conference organised by the Spanish Logistics Centre (CEL), which will focus on freight rail, rail motorways and the challenges of e-commerce. Telefónica, for its part, will delve into the value of logistics digitalisation, while B2wise will give a talk on the transition from cost-driven to flow-driven models.
Empack: circularity, inclusion and anticipating trends
In the case of Empack 2025, the conference is presented as an essential showcase for understanding how packaging is evolving in a context marked by sustainability and innovation. The Empack Room will feature an inspiring keynote speech by Gema Requena, entitled ‘Radar for the future: how to read the world to anticipate your next success’, a speech designed to inspire the industry in identifying opportunities.
This will be complemented by content such as the presentation led by Implica on the role of SCRAPS in regulatory compliance and packaging reuse, as well as sessions on labelling, SmartPackaging and design, organised by Aebrand, AIFEC and the Packaging Innovation Cluster. Among the major new features is the first edition of The Best ESG Initiative Award, which will recognise companies’ efforts in the field of sustainability.
The Pentawards Room programme will address circularity in the beauty industry with the session ‘Circular Beauty’, promoted by Stanpa, and will also open the debate on inclusion in packaging with the Beauty Cluster, Manantial Integra, FOREO and Alglass. In addition, the fair will host a new INFLUsession featuring Leire Borrachero, designer and creator of Sentia Estudio, who will offer a different perspective on the latest trends in branding and design through a real-life success story.
LIB: sustainability and strategic vision for logistics infrastructure
The picture is completed by Logistics & Industrial Build (LIB), which focuses on the spaces and structures that make the entire process possible. Its conference will feature an ambitious programme, kicking off with Sala’s sponsor, Prosistemas, and the presentation of its advanced technological flooring project. This will be followed by round tables organised by Chancerygate, Panattoni and Svam, among others, on hot topics such as the real opportunities and difficulties of solar potential in logistics warehouses, a topic that will be addressed in a round table discussion by Newdock, Stef, Prosolia and DHL.
The programme will also focus on two topics of great interest to the sector. The first will be sustainability and will be led by women in the industry. Moderated by Logística Profesional, Valfondo, Molins, Murarte and the Woman Action Sustainability (WAS) association will contribute their vision on how to integrate environmental criteria into the design and operation of platforms, on the impact of green certifications, innovation in materials and some new existing solutions that renaturalise logistics to the point of being able to convert grey infrastructure into green lungs. The second theme will focus more on talent through the round table discussion ‘New value of the square metre: well-being, purpose and loyalty’. With the special collaboration of Alejandra Nuño, sociologist and LinkedIn Top Voice, Robert Walters, IFMA, DHL, ACSOS and EIGO will reflect on how workspaces not only operate, but can also promote employee well-being and commitment.
The programme will be rounded off with a 365 vision, where marketers, developers, logistics operators and shippers will come together to discuss and share their concerns about the needs and challenges that exist in the logistics market in the current context. The round table, organised by ACE Cargadores, will feature the participation of Prologis, Aragón Plataforma Logística, FM Logistic Iberia, Galletas Gullón and Cadena de Suministro.
The list of exhibitors, the preliminary conference programme and free registration for professionals are available on the Empack, Logistic & Automation and Logistic & Industrial Build websites.
