About us
Multisac Flexible Packaging is a company specialized in flexible packaging for the food industry and other industrial applications.
We have been marking a position of prestige and high quality of service, always recognized by our customers.
It is dedicated to the production and commercialization of flexible packaging
(films, bags and formats), using Flexographic Printing, Digital Printing, Lamination with and without Solvents, Rewinding, Pouch Making, Pouch Spout, Bag-In-Box and Sleeves.
We are a transformative company, with 30 years of activity, with 100% Portuguese capital and our CEO/Chairman of the Board of Directors is Dr. João Ricardo Rodrigues.
We currently have 150 employees, with a expected turnover in 2025 up to €22,800,000, who have invested €13,800,000 in the last 5 years.
We have 4 Industrial Units, with a total area of more than 15,000 m2, with 7 manufacturing phases, which include Printing, Re-printing, Lamination, Rewinding, Bag Making, Sleeve Formatting and Spouts Application in Bags.
We are also a company certified by ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and BRC Packaging, having the Multisac Brand registered nationally and internationally.
As a manufacturing company, we purchase polymers (raw materials) of different origins and formulations, from the most traditional and conventional (Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Metallized, Aluminum,...), as well as latest generation polymers, namely monomaterials, recyclable, biodegradable and compostable, transforming Flexible Film Reels into flexible packaging of different formats, with or without printing, for later commercialization.
Multisac, being a company that is known in the flexible packaging market for its Commercial Flexibility, Service and Versatility, purchased the first HP Indigo 20K Digital printer in 2019, in order to fill a gap in the flexible packaging market in Portugal, being able to offer its customers and partners solutions with reduced delivery times, without minimum quantities, with the printing of multiple SKUs, in a “Read to go” concept | “Print on demand” and free of charge for engraving Clichés (Engraving Plates), with support from an in-house team of designers.
This technology quickly allowed us to open new markets and business segments, nationally and internationally, having been the first and to date the only Portuguese company in the area of flexible packaging to have this technology.
Given the growing demand for these more flexible, versatile and sustainable solutions, as it is a technology with reduced carbon emissions and water-based inks, Multisac in 2025 have 2 (two) HP Indigo 200K Digital Printers, 1 HP Indigo 25K and 1 HP Indigo 6K, becoming the first company at national and Iberian level to have 4 pieces of equipment in its printing line and being part of a restricted group of European companies to have this technology.
With our “eyes set on the future”, what we were 4 years ago, we are not at present and we want to be more and better in the future. With financially sustainable growth, we continue to invest in the training component and technological innovation, always with the concern of presenting our customers and partners with innovative, more ecological and more sustainable solutions and products, so that they reduce the ecological footprint, in order to to become the “Best Flexible Packaging company”, the “Best company in Environmental Terms” and the “Best company to work for”.

REEL (FILM)

Shrink Sleeves
