Dibal strengthens its presence in France with an agreement in principle at an advanced stage for the acquisition of the commercial weighing activities of Precia Molen
As part of this operation, the creation of a new company, PRECIA DIBAL PESAGE SAS, with capital 100% Dibal, has been planned. This new company will integrate these activities and will allow the consolidation of the company's presence in the French market. The new company will market its products under the PRECIA and DIBAL brands.
This acquisition includes the commercial weighing division located in Privas (P1) and the Rungis business, which has a sales and after-sales service establishment within the main wholesale food market in France. The new subsidiary will operate with a team of 16 people, including collaborators with extensive experience in the sector and in-depth knowledge of the French market.
The new company will be managed by Filipe Gomes, a professional with extensive experience in integrations and commercial management, who will lead the development of this new stage for Dibal in France. Until its launch and transfer to the Commercial Department, the project will be directly supervised by Dibal's General Management.

The creation of this new subsidiary will allow us to get closer to our customers and respond more quickly to their needs," said Juan Román, Managing Director of Dibal.
The aim of this acquisition is to boost Dibal's sales in the retail sector in France, with a special focus on large distribution chains, a segment in which the company is seeking to consolidate its position. In addition, this operation will boost the marketing of advanced solutions for industry, such as automatic weighing and labelling equipment and checkweighers, reinforcing Dibal's leadership in the sector.
