Alimerka adopts a new electronic labelling model
Alimerka is implementing a new electronic labelling model, which has already been rolled out in two of its stores and will be extended to the rest of its supermarkets in the coming months.
Alimerka began trialling a new electronic labelling model in mid-August.
According to the Asturian chain, the system, which is already operational in two of its stores in Oviedo and Avilés, is more modern and efficient.
These first installations are part of a trial phase that has allowed the effectiveness of the system to be validated and improvements to be made before it is rolled out.
From now on, all new stores will have this system and, in the coming months, the company will begin to gradually implement it in the rest of its supermarkets.
According to Alimerka, these new electronic labels are adapted to each section, varying in size and offering a clearer display of prices and promotions.
