- According to a company statement, this launch will help reduce plastic by 85%.
- 40% of consumers seek environmentally friendly dishwashers
91% of consumers place importance on living an environmentally friendly lifestyle, according to a study carried out by Fairy in Spain last year.
Saving energy, saving water and opting for more environmentally friendly choices are in the top three reasons for more sustainable behaviour. Thus, 40% of those surveyed look for environmentally friendly products when deciding to buy a dishwashing detergent.
In this context, the brand has introduced a new cardboard refill for Fairy Maxi Power, with the aim of helping to reduce the carbon footprint of plastic in the home when washing dishes. According to a company statement, this launch will help reduce 85% of plastic.
Erika Gamero, Director of Fairy, said: “We are delighted that Fairy continues to introduce practical solutions that help all families to enjoy life more and at the same time reduce plastic consumption at home when washing dishes. The new carton is the brand’s latest innovation to bring refill convenience to the UK.”
