New identifying mark for reusable pallets managed by Ecophir Recicla

These symbols will make it easy to recognize pallets managed under a model that prioritizes recovery, logistical and economic efficiency, and regulatory compliance, within the framework of deposit, return, and refund systems (DRDS).

Ecophir Recicla, in accordance with the obligations established by the Royal Decree on Packaging and Packaging Waste, has begun incorporating a new identifying symbol on pallets as reusable packaging and their reuse systems. These symbols will allow easy recognition of pallets managed under a model that prioritizes recovery, logistical and economic efficiency, and regulatory compliance, within the framework of deposit, return, and refund systems (DRRS).

Beyond simple marking, this image seeks to reflect the participating companies' commitment to reuse and waste reduction. Its implementation offers advantages such as digital traceability from the first cycle, reduced logistics and purchasing costs, and a step toward compliance with current and future requirements regarding reusable packaging.

This initiative underscores the importance of collaboration between supply chain stakeholders at a time when regulation and pressure for more sustainable models are advancing strongly. Ecophir Recicla invites more companies to join this model and take advantage of the benefits of a collective system based on effective reuse.
