Hygiene is a crucial factor in technical and logistical processes involving pharmaceutical and chemical products, food and cosmetics. Craemer, pioneer in plastics processing, has developed the new HB3, a pallet box entirely made of PE: hygienic, robust, ideal for this sector. With its latest development, the specialist in plastics offers a world first innovation: HB3 is the first and only completely closed pallet box on the market with welded runners. The new HB3 box in industrial size (outer dimensions, l x w x h: 1200 x 1000 x 790 millimetres) consists of two one-piece injection-moulded elements: the box body as the top part and the pallet with three welded runners as the bottom part. Another special feature: A patented weld seam geometry for joining both plastic elements ensures maximum impact resistance and break strength; the weld seam is contour-milled and therefore almost invisible. The HB3 box, with a tare weight of approx. 42 kilograms (without reinforcement profiles), can carry a volume of max. 580 litres and withstand a stacking load of 5000 kilograms. The box is extremely rigid thanks to the welding of top and bottom part. Three additional metal reinforcement profiles (available as an option) permit a further increase of bending stiffness. The exact payload of this new development is currently being determined. R&D experts from Craemer call it the “elephant among pallet boxes”. According to them, in relation to its size is the strongest on the market. Construction and design of the box body ensure optimum hygiene. According to the manufacturer, the completely closed pallet box has excellent cleaning properties and has no nooks or crannies in which bacteria may settle. The seamless design, the smooth inner walls and the welded runners allow easy emptying, cleaning and drying. The almost invisible contour-milled welding seam, the clean and clear lines, the minimal ribbing and the rounded shape also contribute to this.

Specifications to precisión and tolerances are sometimes so expensive that component holders need to b e injection moulded. It may also occur that struts and indentations make injection moulding seem the only sensitive method of production. If vera large quantities of a component holder need to be manufactured, injection moulding is frequently the more economical production process.

This electric steam humidifier delivers accurate humidity control without the expense of plastic disposable boiling cylinders and simplifies maintenance with its patented scale management system. Scale that forms on the heating elements breaks off under normal operation and falls into the externally located scale collector tank. Scale removal is a simple process of draining the scale collector tank with the push of a button, allowing the unit to cool then disconnecting the tank and emptying it. The Condair RS can operate with mains water to provide ±3%RH control or on reverse osmosis (RO) water to offer ±1%RH control. When operating on RO water, scale build-up is virtually eliminated, significantly reducing the unit's required maintenance. By locating the water inlet and drain between the twin walls of the outer cylinder wall and an inner cylinder liner, the temperature is kept at a level that inhibits scale formation in this area. This "cold water pool" prevents blockages of the inlet and drain by scale to further enable extended periods between servicing. An advanced touch screen controller provides intuitive control over operation and very detailed reporting, including downloading performance, fault and service history into Excel for advanced diagnostics. BMS connectivity is standard with BACnet and Modbus protocols.
