As part of its continued commitment to the labelling market, Brother, an expert in printing, identification and scanning solutions, has announced that it has expanded its growing range of portable thermal label and receipt printers with the launch of the new RJ-3200 series. This new 3″ format range, which replaces the previous RJ-3050 and RJ-3150 models, offers more competitive models aimed at improving productivity, flexibility and autonomy, which is extremely important in portable printing equipment.

The RJ-3200 Series, comprising the RJ-3230BL and RJ-3250WBL models, is a rugged and robust series. Designed for demanding environments, they are IP54-certified, military-grade and ready to withstand drops of up to 2 metres without damage. They include a smart battery with long battery life to minimise print interruptions and ensure they last throughout the workday.

They feature multiple connectivity options for greater flexibility: USB Type-C for charging and data transmission, Bluetooth MFI (Made For iOS), AirPrint, NFC, WiFi (RJ-3250WBL model) and Ethernet with the addition of the optional charging cradle that allows up to 4 printers to be upgraded overnight while charging, so they are ready and running at full capacity for the next shift.

They are versatile, as they can print both labels and receipts and have accessories to adapt them to different needs and get the most out of them, such as the label peeler and the linerless kit, valid for printing labels with a customised length and in an environmentally friendly way, thanks to the fact that the label rolls do not carry the backing paper. They are also compatible with the main label design and management software: Bartender, SOTI, Loftware (Nicelabel), TEKLYNX and SAP.

Brother’s new range integrates applications to help with all kinds of tasks, mainly in the retail sector for on-the-spot price relabelling and in the transport and logistics sector, for example to make printing points within the warehouse more flexible as a complement to fixed printing stations.
