Easyfairs and the Basque Food Cluster sign an agreement for Empack and Logistics & Automation Bilbao, a meeting of packaging, logistics and transport professionals (1st and 2nd March at BEC).
On 1 and 2 March, the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) is hosting Empack and Logistics & Automation Bilbao, an event organised by Easyfairs that will bring together the packaging, logistics and transport sectors of the northern region for the first time. The fair will bring together the latest solutions in packaging, packaging, intralogistics, automation and robotics in a format that includes an exhibition area, spaces for conferences and demonstration areas, and networking activities that will allow the discovery of innovative, efficient and sustainable solutions.
Thanks to the collaboration agreement signed with the organising entity, BASQUE FOOD CLUSTER has invitations available to its member companies. It will also organise a round table aimed at disseminating the results of the ONTIN Food project.
The round table will take place on 2 March, starting at 11.05 a.m. The conclusions of the ONTIN Food project will be presented. It will present the conclusions of this project aimed at reducing the environmental impact of containers and packaging through eco-design alternatives. Promoted by BASQUE FOOD CLUSTER, with the collaboration of the GAIKER technology centre, Ameztoi Anaiak, Basatxerri, Casa Eceiza, Café Fortaleza, Delicass, Euskaber, Fribasa, Insalus, Lumagorri and Udapa took part in its development, with Ausolan, Grupo Uvesco and Sálica as collaborating companies. The project was financed by the aid programme of the Circular Euskadi SME initiative managed by Ihobe.
