At Prime Biopolymers, we develop compostable plastic solutions for packaging, designed to respond to the evolving needs of the packaging industry and the new European regulatory framework.
Spanish Law 7/2022 already recognizes compostable plastic as an alternative for certain single-use plastic products, while the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) 2025/40 establishes the framework for the use of compostable packaging in specific applications.
Through our ZIMIA technology, we develop compostable solutions for applications such as single-dose packaging, trays and films, combining functionality, versatility and compostability.
At Empack, we present a new generation of packaging: compostable plastic solutions designed to help manufacturers and brands adapt to the new regulatory landscape and move towards more sustainable packaging.
