CYBERINDUSTRY is an R&D project whose objective is to create a cyber-secure industrial application platform that brings together process monitoring and control, data protection, and the most advanced digitalization technologies in a single environment. Today, many food processing plants operate with disparate and disconnected systems, hindering the efficient and secure management of data and processes. CYBERINDUSTRY proposes a unified platform that acts as a communications hub between information systems (IT) and plant systems (OT). The platform includes cybersecurity and secure remote access to plant data without directly exposing the network to the internet; real-time monitoring and control via SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) with tablet and mobile visualization and cloud deployment; alarm and report management with alerts via email, SMS, and Telegram, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) calculation; a digital twin of machines and the plant itself, with augmented reality for training and maintenance; and predictive and preventive maintenance using deep learning. Quality control with digital checklists; and integration with computerized maintenance management software (CMMS). Its modular and scalable design allows companies of varying sizes to implement it in phases according to their needs. The platform is developed for aseptic processing and packaging environments, with a focus on FDA, BRC, and IFS standards, and is capable of being extended to other industrial sectors.
