GMD-S Metal Detector

The GMD-S is a metal detector designed to inspect dense mixtures, food pastes, and viscous products directly in automatic stuffing and filling lines.

It is installed in the product pipeline to detect metal contaminants before final packaging. Its adjustable height and mobile frame make it easy to integrate with different stuffing machines and filling systems, particularly in meat-processing applications.

It can operate at outlet pressures of up to 55 bar and features IP69K protection, making it suitable for environments subject to intensive cleaning procedures. The control cable and connector allow its operation to be coordinated with the filling machine.

It can also be equipped with a rejection valve to automatically separate contaminated product while maintaining process continuity. It is a dedicated solution for products that, due to their texture or physical state, cannot be inspected using a conventional conveyor-based metal detector.
