GMD-T Metal Detector

The GMD-T is a tunnel-type metal detector with an integrated conveyor belt, designed to automatically inspect packaged or bulk products as they move along the production line.

Its multi-frequency technology enables the detection of steel, stainless steel, and non-ferrous metal contaminants. The modular structure can be configured with different tunnel dimensions, conveyor lengths, and either fabric or modular belts, allowing it to adapt to the product and the installation’s cleaning requirements.

When contamination is detected, the system can activate air-jet, piston, or paddle rejection devices. It can also incorporate sensors to confirm product rejection, monitor the fill level of the reject bin, and supervise the overall operation of the process.

Its touchscreen and Ethernet, RS232, and USB connections make it possible to record and review inspection data. It is a solution designed to improve food safety, reduce product recall risks, and provide traceable data for quality controls and IFS, BRC, or HACCP audits.
