EMPACK BREAKS ATTENDANCE RECORD WITH MORE THAN 10,623 UNIQUE VISITORS
Held at IFEMA on 29 and 30 November together with Logistics & Automation Madrid, both fairs were attended by 360 exhibiting companies, registering more than 38,000 commercial interactions and a total of 10,623 unique visitors.
IFEMA became the epicentre of packaging and packaging innovation with the celebration of the 15th edition of Empack these days, with a total of 150 exhibiting brands from the packaging sector, with a special focus on aspects such as automation, robotics and sustainability. In addition, it has offered an extensive programme of conferences and round tables with the participation of more than 50 industry experts.

PhD in Social Sciences. Master in HR, Master in Bereavement Intervention. Degree in Sociology and Journalism and Diploma in Social Work, he has consolidated his career in companies such as Hay Group or Pfizer, always in functions related to training and development.
With a creative and casual style, he has taught for more than 15 years, in Spain and Latin America, hundreds of courses and conferences on helping relationships, communication, motivation, resilience, social skills, emotional intelligence, creativity, etc. using both traditional methodology and experiential learning techniques.
On November 30, he will bring us one of the most motivational talks to date in Empack, as he will make us reflect on our sustainability with ourselves, fundamental to work on achieving sustainability of our processes and products.

Los fabricantes de bebidas son muy conscientes de la importancia de cumplir con los principales reglamentos mediante el uso de códigos de embalaje seguros, legibles y duraderos. Al igual que para cualquier otro equipo, hay que tener en cuenta dos costes: la inversión de capital inicial (CAPEX) y los gastos corrientes incurridos al utilizar el equipo para codificar los productos (OPEX). Existen dos tecnologías de codificación posibles: la inyección de tinta continua (CIJ), que ofrece la máxima flexibilidad y una excelente durabilidad; y el láser, que ofrece la codificación más duradera y precisa que existe.
Aunque la tecnología CIJ requiere una menor inversión inicial que el láser, cada una será adecuada para casos distintos. Esta es una decisión que suele ser más compleja y que debe analizarse en función de cada aplicación. Veamos algunos ejemplos.
